BJP’s Kirron Kher gets EC notice for regulating children in choosing campaigns

The Election Commission has released a notice, seeking respond of BJP’s Chandigarh claimant Kirron Kher after she common a video on chatter in that children were seen campaigning for her.

The check row has asked a actor-turned-politician to respond within 24 hours.

“You have common a video on your chatter comment that shows that children are being used for choosing debate in your foster by aphorism ‘Vote for Kirron Kher’ and ‘Ab Ki Baar Modi Sarkar’,” a notice, released on May 3, said.

In a notice, it was mentioned that a National Commission for Protection of Child Rights in Jan 2017 had requested a Election Commission to safeguard that children are not concerned in any form with election-related activities, by possibly elections officials or domestic parties.

The EC had subsequently educated that it should be ensured by all domestic parties and choosing officials that children are not concerned in any election-related activity, as per a notice.

Kher is seeking re-election from a Chandigarh Lok Sabha chair and is pitted opposite four-time MP and Congress claimant Pawan Kumar Bansal and AAP’s Harmohan Dhawan.

Chandigarh will opinion in a final proviso of Lok Sabha elections on May 19.
