To revitalise Congress in UP, Priyanka Gandhi asks celebration workers to start preparations for 2022 state polls

Congress General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh East, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra urged her celebration workers in a state to embark preparations for Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections scheduled to take place in 2022.

Priyanka, who has been rigorously campaigning in Uttar Pradesh given her grave initiation in a celebration final month, on Tuesday met workers in her hermit and Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s parliamentary subdivision – Amethi.

Encouraging celebration workers to safeguard Congress’ feat in a state, Priyanka, said, “You (workers) need to work tough for elections. Are we scheming for elections? Not for this (general elections), for 2022 (UP Assembly elections)? Are we doing? You have to work.”

Priyanka is on a two-day outing to Amethi and Rae Bareli. She has been given a charge of reviving a celebration in Uttar Pradesh.

Priyanka done a matter while attending a module organized by internal celebration workers here.

Interestingly, a workers had organised a weighing scale flashy with flowers to import Priyanka with laddoo’s (sweets). However, she kindly denied to lay on a beam observant “do we consider we import one quintal.” Later, she asked a son of ex MLA Noor Mohammad to honour a ceremony.

She is scheduled to revisit Ayodhya on Friday.

Priyanka was allocated AICC General Secretary for Uttar Pradesh East on Jan 23.

During progressing elections, Priyanka had kept herself singular to campaigning for Rahul and Sonia Gandhi in Amethi and Raebareli parliamentary constituencies only. Both constituencies are deliberate as strongholds for Gandhi family.
