The Chief Minister garlanded the statues of JP and his wife Jay Prabha at Charkha samiti, the residence of Loknayak Patna.

Kumar said Loknayak and Ram Manohar Lohia had taken forward the Quit India movement launched by Mahatama Gandhi against British rule.

Union ministers Ananth Kumar and Ravishankar Prasad accompanied by state BJP leaders Sushil Kumar Modi, Prem Kumar and Nand Kishore Yadav also visited Charkha samiti to pay tributes to Loknayak Jayprakash Narayan.

Ananth Kumar also opined that thoughts of JP hold relevance on Tuesday as in the past.
