BHOPAL: Armed with a video clip purportedly featuring Congress leader Kamal Nath, the BJP on Wednesday accused the opposition party of provoking Muslims against the RSS. The BJP alleged that the video exposed the real face of the Congress and it showed the opposition party’s “hatred” towards the RSS and Hindus. However, the Congress PCC chief finds nothing objectionable in the video.
In the video circulating on the social media, PCC chief Nath, is purportedly seen telling a group of Muslims to be cautious about the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) campaign and that his party will deal it with after the November 28 state Assembly polls. Nath, addressing leaders of various community including Muslims said, “The work of RSS is to promote Hinduism and to uplift Narendra Modi…We have to be careful till the elections.” After the video surfaced on social media, unperturbed Nath questioned, “What is objectionable in my video, I am telling them to be cautious of those powers which come and try to divide the society.”
He further added that “These powers are involved in spreading rumours and also divert people’s attention from basic issues. I had asked them to not to come in trap of these type of people”. The BJP social media in-charge Shailendra Sharma accused Congress of defaming RSS and BJP for political interest.
