Kolkata: Zoom Air now began moody operations between Kolkata and Assam’s Tezpur underneath a Centre’s UDAN scheme, a tip central of a airline said.
The airline operated a 50-seater Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ200LR) between Kolkata and Tezpur, a central said.
“We are a full use conduit and a aircraft we are handling in this zone is oppulance jet,” CEO and Managing Director of Zoom Air, Koustav M Dhar, said.
Zoom Air will work 7 daily flights on a Kolkata-Tezpur-Kolkata route, he said.
“The moody time will be usually 55 mins given it has no stopovers,” Mr Dhar said.
The airline now has 5 aircraft during a disposal.
He pronounced that a airline’s daily moody between Kolkata and Tezpur will take off from Kolkata during 11.50 am and strech Tezpur after 55 minutes. The lapse moody will take off for Kolkata from Tezpur during 1.20 pm.
The airline, that started operations in Feb final year, now operates another moody out of Kolkata in a Delhi-Jabalpur-Kolkata sector.
The Kolkata-Tezpur-Kolkata moody is being operated underneath a Centre’s UDAN (Ude desh ka aam nagrik) scheme. Half a seats will attract a transport of Rs 3,110 while a remaining seats will be charged by a airline on a own.
“We used to work flights on a Delhi-Durgapur-Kolkata zone also, though stopped drifting on that track given Aug 2017, after there was a bird hit,” Mr Dhar said.
