Drug overdose suspected after Indrani Mukerjea certified to Mumbai hospital

J J sanatorium authorities in Mumbai have reliable that Sheena Bora murder indicted Indrani Mukerjea is pang from drug overdose. She was certified to a state-run sanatorium on Friday.

“It is a box of drug overdose. She was on anti-depressants. we asked her that tablets she had taken, though she did not reply. we will be seeking her again. As distant as a overdose is concerned, it is for a military to investigate,” Dr Sudhir Nanandkar, Dean of JJ Hospital, told reporters.

Mukerjea was brought to a JJ Hospital during around 11:15 pm on Friday from a Byculla Jail in south Mumbai in a ‘semi-conscious’ state and was certified to a Critical Care Unit, doctors said.

He combined that Mukerjea (46) was administered medicines orally by a jail guards during a stipulated intervals.

Doctors during a sanatorium pronounced a medicines were not placed in Mukerjea’s palm nor was she authorised to store them.

“So, a resources underneath that an overdose competence have taken place have to be investigated by a police,” one of a doctors said.

This is a second time Indrani Mukherjea has been certified to a sanatorium for drug overdose.

In 2015, Mukerjea was certified in J J sanatorium when a volume of drugs in her physique was found to be 10 times of a slight limits.

Dr. Wiqar Shaikh, who treated Indrani Mukerjea said, “In 2015, when Indrani was certified to JJ hospital. It was drug overdose of Benzodiazepine that was antidepressants. This was suggested by a news of Hinduja Hospital that pronounced a Benzodiazepine suit was 10 times more”.

Currently, Indrani is immoderate Amlodipine, Aspirin and Amytriptyline. When she was admitted, her pupils were engaged and she was semi-conscious. Doctors pronounced that her condition is now normal and she is responding verbally.
